NUST FM is an online media communication platform to disseminate information about NUST to its community and external stakeholders. The station allows students, staff and interested parties to enter into a dialogue about matters that directly affect all members.

The station further acts as a training ground for students, in not only the media industry but how a work place environment functions. As such, NUST FM consists of students from all faculties within NUST, in this way the entire community is reflected in the voices of NUST FM.

Programming Policy: The content of the station must at all time reflect the community which it serves. Therefore, 60% of the content output is NUST related, 30% is dedicated to national content and the remaining 30% is dedicated to African and/or international news that have a local impact.

NUST FM is proud to support local talent and therefore the music output strives to be at least 60% purely local artists. Innovation and community building are at the very core of our programming policy as well as the overarching goal of educating our listeners…or as we like to put it “infotaining” them.
